Afrexim
The Harare Afreximbank Africa Trade Centres (AATC) will house Afreximbank’s permanent regional office, a World-class hotel, a trade information centre, a major conference centre and a tech incubation lab.
Silverbrook Estate
A premium mixed use residential Estate in the heart of Zimbabwe’s fastest growing satellite town, Ruwa. The project consists of 287 low density stands (approximately 1,000 m2 in size), modern apartments & an up-market commercial centre.
Chikara Civil Construction recognizes the necessity for an efficient SHEQ team and strives to provide a safe and effective working environment for all employees and stakeholders. Chikara ensures strict compliance to both internal policies and procedures as well as gazetted legislation. Compliance audits are conducted regularly and safety policies are reviewed timeously. At Chikara, we have strict policies and procedures in place to ensure that our staff are kept safe at all times. We have a dedicated H&S Manager with a team of H&S Officers on site who ensure that:
- All staff are kept up to date with the latest courses and requirements of all relevant Regulations.
- To mentor and assist the site managers to set up the site safety files and records.
- To ensure that all documentation and equipment is compliant with the Act and all relevant Regulations.
- Monthly audits are conducted to ensure compliance

Chikara Civil Construction has built up an extensive fleet of plant and equipment. We have an ongoing replacement policy whereby we strive to keep our plant in excellent condition. Plant backup and servicing is provided by an excellent crew of a plant manager, plant agents, mechanics and a fleet of selected and all trained servicemen. We pride ourselves in the condition of our fleet and the fact that we are able to meet the tight deadlines and demands of our clients. This enables Chikara to get the job done on time and within budget.
